In some languages, front (bright) and back (dark) vowels cannot be mixed within the same word. This is called vowel harmony.
Although this concept is only partly realised in Finnish, it may yield impressive results, as in today's Word of the Day:
päämääränään
That is as their goal.
I found this one in the translation of The Lord of the Rings, shortly before Helm's Deep.

Ach herjesses die Vokalharmonie...ich verstehe zwar das Prinzip, mache aber dennoch dauernd ein a statt ein ä oder andersrum 😉

interessant, ich wusste gar nicht, dass finnisch auch vokalharmonie hat... ich kenns nur aus dem türkischen.

Ich finde es immer interessant, gleiche Konzepte in nicht verwandten Sprachen zu finden. Türkisch ist ja, soweit ich weiß, auch eine agglutinierende Sprache; und Ortsfälle soll es dort wohl auch geben?
